Hi Alex,
On December 23rd, in Europe, will be a huge vote about DRM or not. If the law is voted, this means that free software would be illegal, all music and file would have DRM, etc...
I saw a paper here in France, where the local RIAA/MPAA (named SACEM/Sesam) will sue all free software author that dstribute their source code. Because for these administration, it's dangerous to reveal source code with no control by them (and then money).
You have to know that in France, a musician, who subscribed with the SACEM, has no more the freedom to play his own music even in the street, without paying the SACEM...
So talking about freedom and DRM... wow !
